I study biodiversity at the intersection of ecology, economics and philosophy. I build bioeconomic models that integrate biodiversity into economic decisions without pricing it, and I draw on the concept of viability to frame our choices in the face of its erosion. Running across all of this work is a strand of research-creation exploring the ecological crisis.
Three research strands for rethinking the biodiversity crisis and the management of socio-ecosystems.
On bioeconomic modelling, agricultural policy, environmental ethics and the use of art in science.
